    Black Widows usually only have one red spot under their body, so that might be another kind of spider that pretends to be widows for defence. So you MIGHT be fine. See alot of them in Utah so they're a normal sight, great for my anxiety~ I'd say ask an expert, cause you might have literally nothing to worry about, but that 50/50 ain't exactly worth it.

I swear they see the name then go straight to comments to tell everyone the rubbish they think, despite just being told its rubbish. People, theres no improving them!

      Before political unity, Ireland operated under common law, common religion, common language, common bartering systems. We were united in our hatred of our oppressors when the British invaded. But you're right, though we were united in law, language, religion, ideology, and economics... we weren't technically a "United Ireland"

    If I see a giant house spider, I usually leave it alone and just observe it. I only safely remove cellar spiders if it looks like they're a threat to other spiders. I've only seen false widows in my flat twice and both times I caught them in a jar and removed them to a safe place outside, well away from the flat. Edit: I sometimes see jumping spiders on the clothes line in the summer. They're cool to observe. One of my favourites to observe are garden orb weavers. They can make pretty big webs.

I never though in my life I would get bit by a spider in London nevermind the absolute carnage it caused. 2 weeks of anti-biotics and 4 extra weeks of cavity fillings/dressing to allow the hole to heal. I for the life of my cannot recall how or where it happened. So i can only assume it was when I was asleep.

    To remove words like, eg. "Taoiseach", replacing it with Prime Minister - is to effectively suggest that we diminish our very Irishness - our Gaelic culture and identity. And for what? To appease a dying breed of incredibly backward, belligerent Ireland-haters in the North who would be relying on our economic support while carrying on with their childish hatred? How 'bout NO! Why not offer the spiteful toddlers land in Britain and let them move there. That's why their forebears came to this island in the first place - they were offered confiscated land. (I strongly suspect Britain doesn't want them either, however).

    • @taintabird23
      @taintabird23 Год назад

      Nobody says we have to give up our Gaelic cutlure and identity, ffs. We will need a new anthem, changes to the constitution, perhaps rejoin the Commonwealth and maybe a new flag - but we will not be giving up our identity. Who would vote for that? The Unionists will have to modify their identity, and we in nationalist Ireland will have to accommodate their requirements to secure their traditional culture and British identity. But how long will Britishness last anyway? The UK is in the process of a slow break up.

    • @firstindigo
      @firstindigo Год назад

      @@taintabird23 Irish people North or South will never vote to rejoin the Commonwealth - that's not going to happen, come on. Also, whatever about a different flag (the existing flag is already an attempt to appease them. Green on one side, white in the middle for peace, and their orange on the other - and they still burn it on their stupid bonfires) I don't think Irish people will accept a national anthem in English, if thats what you're suggesting. The one good point you made there is about Britishness.

    • @taintabird23
      @taintabird23 Год назад

      @@firstindigo You do understand that Irish nationalism is going to have to make sacrifices, right? It is not all going to be one way traffic. This is one of the problems about not having a proper discussion about uniting the people of the island of Ireland. Many people in the south think it is only those in the north that will make sacrifices. 'Taoiseach' for example, was brought in by de Valera in the 1930s when it was fashionable to have names for 'leader' in other European countries in the 1930s: Furher, El Duce for example all came in at that time. Personally, I like 'Taoiseach', and I have never heard it suggested that this title would have to be surrendered in a united Ireland. The Irish people never voted to leave the Commonwealth, it was a Fine Gael Taoiseach who made that decision - unilaterally. What is the Commonwealth anyway but some sort of talking shop? Plus we get to send our athletes to the Commonwealth games, which about the only time 'The Commonwealth' ever registers on anybody's radar. You can be certain Ireland will rejoin the Commonwealth in the event of a united Ireland as a sop to unionism. I would hate to lose the tri-colour, but unfortunately in NI our flag is associated with people who committed acts of terror. If we have to give that up, it would really stick in my craw. However, it is not certain that this will be the case for the reasons you already stated. The national anthem will have to go though- it is about killing Brits. We will need a national anthem that reflects the unity of the Irish people. The 12th of July as a national holiday. Fine by me. I'm not obliged to participate. Unionists can keep their British identity (that's up to London, nothing to do with us). You shouldn't feel threatened by these sacrifices we will have to make. Irish culture is strong and inclusive and comes from a confident sense of identity. Unionism is very different: the identity is strong but exclusive and its expression comes from a place of insecurity. How long will it last? Have a think about it.

    • @firstindigo
      @firstindigo Год назад

      @@taintabird23 I don't know what you've been smoking, but I have already given it plenty of thought and don't worry, I don't feel threatened. I am confident that this talk of rejoining the Commonwealth is deluded. Politicians in more and more Commonwealth countries are discussing obtaining full independence these days, so why would Ireland agree to rejoin that B.S.?! The Unionists (with a capital U) know they are in too weak a position now to try to insist on that kind of compromise anyway. They know that everybody else knows it would be Westminster's wet dream to offload NI. The extremely proud, freedom-loving people in the Republic won't vote for something like rejoining the Commonwealth. Also, consider this: While many southern Irish people do want to see a united Ireland happening, if you tell them that they have to pay higher taxes etc to support a region incapable of sustaining itself economically, then watch most of them abandon that romanticism. Some won't care about an anthem, a flag, or the Irish language, but fiscal sacrifices like that? Not a chance. Please try and understand that there are few alive in the Republic these days who remember anything other than living in a free, peaceful country. The compromises you are suggesting are out of the question for most of us. Not because we feel threatened, but simply because we are accustomed to more. Sorry but if it's going to happen, it will happen without the ridiculous things you are suggesting. I'm thinking more and more, than NI should be its own independent country - at least for a while, til you people (who have so much in common - you all love your murals, your marches, etc and you all have the same accent) can learn to get along, and can support yourselves economically. Then you have a chance of reuniting with Ireland, but forget this Commonwealth fantasy will you.

    • @taintabird23
      @taintabird23 Год назад

      @@firstindigo There are many fully independent republics in the Commonwealth already, a few are former French colonies and had no previous history with the UK. You may feel confident that Ireland will not rejoin, but I am not. What is the problem with it? It does nothing. If we are going to unite the people of Ireland we cannot treat the Unionists as pariahs just because they will be in weak position. It goes against the spirit of the GFA and makes no sense if we want this new Ireland to be cohesive. When the time is right, we need to make them an offer they cannot refuse. As for paying for Irish unity, in these polls where the question has been asked, there has been no indication as to how much extra taxation will be required. Unionists have told us for decades that the republic's tax base could not afford it, but Brendan O'Leary and others reckon we could as the actual subvention would be much lower than what the UK Treasury hands over. These same polls indicate that otherwise, people in republic are very much in favour of Irish unity in principle, despite living in peace for so long. Northern Ireland cannot be an independent country: they can't even run a devolved government together, why do you think independence is a good idea? I'm a Leinsterman living in Munster. I'm not from NI.
